We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. Please send any questions about data protection to info@artcom-venture.de with the subject ‘Data protection’.

Key points

We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to operate this website, to answer your enquiries and to handle job applications. We process your data in Germany and the European Union. We do not use any advertising or tracking services.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in a data centre in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

When you visit the website, the server automatically stores:

• IP address
• date and time of access
• page accessed and amount of data transferred
• referrer (the page you visited before)
• browser and operating system

The purpose is secure and stable operation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the log files after 7 days.

Contact form and email

If you write to us via the form or by email, we process the details you provide: name, company, email address, phone number (optional), topic and message.

The purpose is to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Job applications

If you apply for a job with us, we process the data from your application to decide whether to hire you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We delete your documents six months after the selection process has ended, unless you consent to longer storage.

Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies, for example to save your language selection. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. You can see which cookies we set at any time under ‘Cookie settings’ in the footer.

Fonts

The fonts on this website are hosted locally on our server. When you visit the site, no connection is made to servers operated by Google or other providers.

Links to other services

We link to our managing director’s LinkedIn profile. Only when you follow such a link does the respective provider process your data, under its own privacy policy.

Recipients

Your data is only passed to service providers that we have carefully selected and bound by contract: our hosting provider and our email service Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin). Microsoft processes the data in data centres in the EU and is additionally certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Beyond this, we do not transfer any personal data to countries outside the European Union.

Your rights

You have the following rights:

• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

Right to lodge a complaint

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.
